York House Hotel - Lagos

The location of this hotel is great-it's close to the airport, the city center, and the beach. We also got a room with a nice bathtub, which was a nice touch! 🛁.

Reasonably spacious room, shower facilities and bath sheets in the room. Really helpful staff with great local knowledge.

We really enjoyed this family-friendly hotel. Our double room was comfortable and had everything we needed. 😊.

This hotel had beautiful, well-equipped rooms with a bath that opened up to the swimming pool, and the staff was always friendly and welcoming.

The room at York House was cozy and comfortable, with a lovely tea/coffee maker. It had all the kitchenware I needed and even a microwave, making it convenient for preparing simple meals. The private bathroom added an extra touch of privacy and convenience.

Personally, I found that the wardrobe in the room was a bit small for my liking. However, others might still find it perfectly adequate.

Always choose to stay at my favorite place in Lagos. The staff found my lost earring on my first stay. Perfect for me with everything I need: Free Wi-Fi, Car park, Pool, TV room, Kitchen utensils. Coming back for New Year!

Clean - beautiful villa with a great pool and garden. Close to the beach - just a 15-minute walk along a scenic wooden pathway. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. Nice outdoor communal kitchen and common room with TV. Enjoyed the big swimming pool.

Had a delightful time at a hotel with a pool and WiFi, perfect for posting envy-inducing beach pics. The nearby Meia praia Beach was just a short stroll away, making it convenient for sunbathing and swimming.

We got great value for our money at York House. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and the location was perfect with easy access to the beach and a short walk to the main town.

celebrated my birthday in Lagos and found the perfect accommodation at York House. Amazing staff, cool rooms, big pool, and BBQ area. Short walk to the beach and easy bike ride to the center. Loved every minute of it!

No hot water for showers.

Nice to be out of town by the ocean, with a 10-minute walk to the beach and a 10-minute drive to the center. the big swimming pool and beautiful house were definite advantages. the mini fridge in the room was useful, and the communal balcony provided a nice alternative for a pool view.

The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms left much to be desired.

Accommodation close to beach, own pool, lovely night swimming with starry view. Nice owner/manager, clean, friendly staff, helpful. Small private terrace for pleasant breakfast. One of the best accommodations in Portugal. Definitely recommend.

I had a great time at York House in Lagos. The location was perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to the beach. The room I stayed in was spacious and cool, excellent considering the warm weather. The pool was a fantastic addition, and I enjoyed lounging by it and taking a refreshing swim. The bath towels provided were large and fluffy, adding to my comfort. The hotel was situated outside of the busy town center, which I appreciated as it offered a peaceful atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing beach getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. the location was perfect, just a 5-minute walk to a stunning sandy beach. We loved starting our mornings with a swim before the beach got crowded. There were also two restaurants along the way to the beach, making it convenient for us to grab a delicious meal. While the walk to the center of the town was a bit longer than expected, we rented bicycles from a shop in the city center, which made it much more convenient. the house itself was very comfortable, with a spacious room and a nice balcony. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and the sun loungers. it was a great experience. Cons: Nothing to complain about at all 😊.
